What is Fast draw? The sport of Fast Draw was born from the Western Gunfight. WFDA was established in1954 by the top gunfighters of the western shows.
Celebrities like Clint Eastwood, Glen Ford, Sammy Davis Jr. Jerry Lewis, just to name a few who participated in the first Fast Draw Contest in Las Vegas NV.
70 Yrs later and still the Fastest and safest Gun Sport in the world is being held in Sturgis South Dakota at the ‘Thunderdome” Kickstart Travel Plaza Rt 34.
Old West Style with a twist, only Wax Bullets or Blanks are used during the event. Shooters are timed down to 1000th of a second to Draw, Cock, and Fire.
Open to the general public no admission charge. Heck, we will even let you try your if on Friday if you feel Locky.
