MusicSpeaks at the Sturgis Public Library will be on Thursday, February 13th, at 5:30pm. This month we will listen to music from “The King of Soul” and explore the life (and death) of one of our greatest singers! After getting his start in gospel music, Cooke reigned supreme in pop music and was one of the first African Americans to have an active role in the music business.
