MusicSpeaks at the Sturgis Public Library will be on Thursday, October 17th at 5:30pm. The Black Hills Symphony Orchestra opens the 24-25 season with a concert titled Myth & Magic featuring Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. This piece takes its inspiration from the Arabian Nights stories. Also on the concert is another popular piece: Edvard Grieg’s music for the Ibsen play Peer Gynt. Join us to listen and learn about these pieces.
