There’s an exciting event coming to a theatre near you this fall! You won’t want to miss any one of the four nights of Northern Hills One-Act Plays. The coordinated effort is called G.O.A.T. (Getting our Acts Together). The four Northern Hills communities of Lead, Belle Fourche, Spearfish, and Sturgis have joined together to bring you 4 one-act plays at 4 different venues on 4 different days! At each location, you have the opportunity to see “Charlie’s Masterpiece” (Belle Fourche), “Dad-Joke Intervention” (Lead), “Lawyer, Lawyer” (Sturgis), and “The Staged Murder” (Spearfish).
The one-acts will be presented at the Belle Fourche Community Center in Belle Fourche on Thursday, October 10th, at the Homestake Opera House in Lead on Friday, October 11th, at the Sturgis Community Center in Sturgis on Saturday, October 12th, and at the Matthews Opera House in Spearfish on Sunday, October 13th. Performances will be at 7:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a 2:00pm Spearfish matinee on Sunday.
Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and veterans, and $5.00 for students, and will be available at the door. With four performances to choose from, you may want to attend more than once!
